The Fun Fedora Chapter of the Red Hat Society are a fun, footloose, and fancy free group of women who have gathered together from the Chippewa Valley in Wisconsin. We have sewn together our own Ya-Ya SisterHood, we 'tea'-light in our 'You'-nique friendships, and are determined to meet the 50 years old milestone and beyond with grrrr-Hat-titude! At the present time our membership is closed. Our Royal Order of Cuckoos often laugh ourselves silly with our off-the-wall sense of humor and raise a Red Hat Ruckus whenever and wherever we go- but in a polite sort of way!! We dress to impress, we are stunning, outragious, and Mah-velous Bodacious Babes!! SUMMER HUMMER - 2005!!! Eau Claire area Queens invited all Chippewa Valley RHS chapters to the Plaza Hotel, Clairemont Ave, Eau Claire to an IT'S ALL ABOUT US Red Hat gathering. What a hoot we all had. In the back row from left: Contessa of High Tea Bev, our newly "discovered" sister-in-red, "Saint" Francis, & Lady Long Stem Rose; front row from left: PrinSis Aggie, Madame Putzy, & CATerina enjoyed the strut-your-stuff giddiness & gaudy-is-good giggles that are part of all our get-togethers! We do hope more Fun Fedora's can join in the fun next year, as the Purple Word is: They have already booked the ballroom for next year!!!
WALLEYS CAFE, you say?? Funny, whacky, and wonderful described this comedy and it sure turned out to be just that! CAT, Putz, Aggie, & Lady Long Stem Rose had a yummy lunch planned just for Red Hatters on July 13th at noon at Fanny Hill. Shady Lady Jennie from Cranberry Cottage was there with her Red Hat "wears", so not only do you get to munch & laugh, you get to Red Hat shop as well. There are two more plays planned JUST FOR US coming up in September. Will keep you posted!!!
Tarzan has left the jungle!! Due to the hot weather; lack of rsvps; possibly fair week; lack of interest, maybe??; or whatever, our rumble-in-the-jungle, Estrogen Olympic Survivor Games were torched, canned, put on hold, canceled, and called off!! Too bad, as lots of planning went into this funventure event . . . .summers are busy for all, so nothing says we can keep this "on the back burner" and arrange another 'island adventure'. Four "old bats" in Red hats showed up for our 'take-me-out-to-the-ballgame' gathering. Believe it or not the weather was COOL.!! We all sat, sipped, chatted like only red hatters can do, and just plain enjoyed being outdoors. It was wonderful breathing in 'REAL AIR' !!

Unofficial "bored" meetings held at the drop of a "red hat" !
Whenever the "mood" strikes, or you need to escape, a "bored" meeting is a must!! Just pick up the teley and call a Fedora, it is a rrr-"hat"ter uplifting senior moment!! These tea thyme follies are over and above our regularly scheduled monthly events. We have found the secret to youth: A smile is an inexpensive way to improve our looks!!
